Before you call: a quick built-in check
- Confirm power and set points. Check that the unit has power and the temperature set points have not been bumped. A nudged control or a tripped breaker is a common false alarm on a busy kitchen built-in.
- Check the doors and gaskets. Make sure each door closes fully and the magnetic gasket seals all the way around. On a heavy built-in door, a slight sag or a propped door warms the cabinet fast.
- Open up the grille airflow. A built-in draws its condenser air through the grille above the doors, so check that it is not clogged.
